Shipping & Returns

Delivery Schedule

A tentative delivery date/time will be given to You along with the order confirmation email. The exact delivery date shall be provided as soon as Your order is ready for dispatch. Alternatively, Members can track their order by clicking “Track order” and find the order status.

Shipping Destinations

In India, Kumari Fine Jewellery serves almost all cities. Please check if we deliver to Your pin code in the shopping cart checkout page. If there is no courier service available in Your area, we do apologise for the inconvenience caused.

At present, we do not have the option to deliver a single order to multiple destinations. You will need to place different orders for shipment to multiple destinations.

As per RBI standards, we only accept cash on delivery for orders under Rs. 49,999, and if the buyer demands a return, we will request their account details and refund the amount solely to their account.

Shipping & Handling Cost

Domestic Order:

  • We provide free shipping within India.
  • For every delivery the logistics partners may compulsorily ask for a valid identity proof while delivering the shipment. 
  • When the original recipient is not available, they will be given a one-time passcode to validate, and they can ask someone else to pick it up after providing identification. This will guarantee that the product is delivered correctly and safely. 
  • If the item is open or otherwise tampered with, do not accept it. Take a photo and send it to us at care@kumari.co and we will then take the necessary steps.
Custom Clearance:
  • All shipments of Jewellery exported from India need to be cleared by the Indian Customs office.
  • Products along with their complete documentation are filed with the authorised officer of the Indian Customs office for inspection, examination, and assessment and only then delivered to Your shipping address. 
  • Hence, for international orders, please ignore the message on the package section which mentions: ‘Please do not accept if the package is received in Open/ Tempered condition’.
  • You will find the package sealed with a label saying ‘opened for Customs’.

In the case of international orders, you have to pay the shipping charges at the time of placing the order.

Also, custom duty & taxes levied by the destination country has to be borne by You and needs to be paid to the logistic partner at the time of delivery. Please note that all consignments are on Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis.

Delivery Time for Domestic Order
  • The products (majorly) are delivered within 7 (seven) working days in India from the day of order confirmation, provided such delivery is not delayed by any governmental authority or any other entity acting on behalf of the government or acting as per the directions of the government. 
  • For customised orders, the delivery time may vary depending on the kind of design changes, aesthetic changes, size changes requested by You. The same shall vary from case-to-case basis.
  • In the unlikely event that we fail to deliver your order within the stipulated period, we shall cancel the order and notify you regarding the same.
  • In such cases, the refund will be made directly to your account via the same mode through which the payment was made.
  • We only partner with reputed logistic partners/agencies to ensure that the products reach you promptly/safely and in perfect condition. We also ensure that the delivery is made to the recipient and thus require the identity proof for verification.
Express delivery
  • The option of Express Delivery is offered for specific pin codes in specific cities (Metro Cities-T2) for specific products.
  • If you choose this option, the product will be delivered the next day if your order is submitted by 12 PM.
  • For Express Delivery pin codes, orders received after 12 o'clock will have a turnaround time of the order + 2 (two) business days.
  • It won't apply to international orders because they will still require a turnaround time of the order + 15 (fifteen) business days.
  • The turnaround time for expedited delivery will increase by one day if it falls on a holiday or Sunday.
  • Expect the delivery by the date specified under the Express delivery option, it is advised.
Delivery Time for International Orders
  • The product is delivered outside of India between 7 (seven) to 21 (twenty-one) business days of the order confirmation date, assuming that no government agency or other organization acting on its behalf or following its instructions delays delivery.
  • In the odd event that we are unable to fulfil Your order within the allotted time, we will cancel it and inform you immediately.
  • In these circumstances, the refund will be sent immediately to Your account using the same payment method. In order to guarantee that the products arrive to You promptly and in excellent shape, we only collaborate with reputable courier services.
Return
  • Can I return my order after receiving it?

    We are committed to ensuring full customer satisfaction with respect to the products available on the Website, security & customer assistance. However, if You are not happy with the product or its quality, you can choose to return the order subject to conditions mentioned below. 

    Returns cannot be processed for customised, altered, used, Tag broken or removed, or damaged products.

  • Who will bear the shipping charges?

    We offer Free return shipping up to 15 (fifteen) days from the order delivery date. The shipping charges incurred during returns and exchanges will be on us. 

  • What is the process to return the order within 15 (fifteen) days?

    The procedure to return the order will be as follows: 

    • Just call our customer support number + 91 2048552268 or email us at “care@kumari.co” and place your exchange/return request.
    • Secure Your product with its tag and the original invoice or a copy of the same, certificate(s), jewellery box, etc.
    • Call our Customer Care team to inform them once the secured envelope is ready and we will arrange for a pickup.
    • We kindly ask that items should be returned to us in their original condition.
    • Please ensure that you follow the following steps:
    • Step:1 Keep your jewellery and the invoice in the same jewellery box you received it in.

      Step:2 Show the pickup executive the design. The executive will then put the jewellery box in tamper-resistant packaging to guarantee that it arrives safely to us.

    • The jewellery item will go through Quality Control prior to the exchange or return being processed. We cannot process exchanges or returns on items that have been customised, worn, used, altered or damaged.
    • We reserve the right to refuse exchanging or returning any order/product/merchandise that does not meet the above requirements according to our sole discretion.
    • We won't be able to process any request for returns or exchanges after 15 (fifteen) days from the date of delivery of the product.
    • We cannot process exchanges or returns on items that have been customised, worn, used, altered or damaged.
    • Products will not be picked for return/exchange if they are not properly packed and secured for pickup.

As per RBI standards, we'll accept cash on delivery for orders under Rs. 49,999. If you'd like to return your purchase, we'll request your account details in whose name the billing were done to process a refund directly to your bank account. 

Customisation of a product

A product can be customized for the following criteria: 

  • If we do not provide a gold metal colour option on our website, we can provide a different gold metal.
  • A different gemstone or precious stone (for example, sapphire or ruby). 
  • If the jewellery contains different colours of enamel 
  • Any specific ceramic colour preferences 
  • If a customer has a specific design or a customised request for any of their jewellery, they may always call us and we will get started with the order accordingly. 

If a customized request is required, 

  • the customer must contact our customer care.
  • Following the request, they should send an email requesting written confirmation. 
  • Pay the full price for the requested product. 
  • Following that, we will send a confirmation email to confirm the order. 
  • We will be sending the product at the manufacturing stage after confirmation. 
  • Customized orders will take 20-21 business days for them to reach you. 

They must be very specific about the requirements they have for their orders. Orders that are customized or manufactured specifically for the customer based on their design choices cannot be cancelled, returned, or exchanged
